There are ten staff employed at the centre they include our full-time Manager and full-time Assistant Manager, the other eight staff are employed part-time. They include 1 fitness instructor, 4 centre attendants, 2 caretakers and 1 cleaner.
Mary Kelleher
I have been the Manager of the Sports Centre since November 2002. I have many years experience in the exercise and leisure industry. I am the local co -ordinator of the GP Exercise Referral Programme in Skibbereen. I am a qualified Spinning Instructor. I have a keen interest in all sports particularly Gaelic Games where i enjoyed a successful career with both club and county.
Paul o Donovan
I have recently starting working in the Sports Centre. My duties include reception, cash control, and supervision. I am a qualified boatbuilder. I have a keen interest in sports, cooking, and fishing.
Tony Salter
I have worked in the Sports centre since 2007. My duties include serving customers, cash control, and taking bookings. I am a keen sports fan , some of my favourite team’s include liverpool F.C. , O Donovan Rossa, and both Cork intercounty teams.
Niall McCarthy
I have worked as the assistant manager here in the Sports Centre for the last three years. Before starting work here i studied Exercise and Health Studies in Waterford for four years. Some of my duties include gym instruction and teaching a variety of classes. I play football and soccer for my local teams here in Skibbereen and have a keen interest in all sports.
Geoff Woods
I have worked in the Sports Centre since September 2009. I help out with the day to day running of the centre. I have a keen interest in soccer and have coached in three different countries. I also have just recently qualified as a certified Spinning Instructor, i also have full CPR and AED qualifications.

Jillian o Driscoll
I have been working in the Sports Centre since August 2005 on a part time basis assisting with the opereation of the centre. Some of my duties include reception, cash control, and taking main hall bookings. I enjoy working out by taking part in circuit and spinning classes. I also love to travel.
Gearoid McCarthy
I am gym instructor here in the Sports Centre and i also teach Circuits and Spinning. I have recently qualified as a GP Co – Ordinator. I have worked in the leisure industry for the last five years. My hobbies include G.A.A. and basketbal.
